What roles are there in Flexwhere?

Flexwhere has multiple roles that can be assigned to users.

Here are the roles:

Admin

An Admin can use all the functionalities in the Flexwhere Control Centre and in the Flexwhere apps. The Admin has all the right of the Employee and Desk planner role, as well as the following extra rights:

  • Adding new users;
  • Maintenance of floor plans;
  • Adding desks;
  • Adding meeting rooms;
  • Adding devices;
  • Overview of the statistics
  • Adjusting the organisation's settings

An Admin role can only be assigned by another Admin. Once a user is assigned the Admin role, they will receive an email asking them to create a password to log in to the Control Center. The link in this email is valid for 24 hours.

Manager

The Manager can only see and use the statistics in the Control Center.
Just like the Admin role, a Manager receives an email to create a password for the Control Center. This email is automatically sent once the role is assigned.

Employee

An employee can only book or occupy a desk for themselves. This role can also book a parking space, a car or an ad hoc meeting room. Most users in an organization will be assigned this role.

Desk planner

An employee who has to manage bookings for groups and other colleagues is assigned the role of Desk Planner.
The Desk Planner can use the Desktop and Web application to book one or more desks for others.
The Desk Planner role is assigned by an Administrator in the Control Centre. 
This role is  available in the Business plan.
