What policy does Flexwhere apply regarding its software and updates?

To ensure that users experience optimal performance and have access to the latest features, all released versions of our applications have a specific support period. Users are informed by email or via the respective application when a new update is required. However, it is recommended to always work with the latest version due to security updates and implemented improvements (bug fixes).

Please note that our Support department can only offer assistance for versions that fall within these timeframes.

Flexwhere for Desktop:

Supported for a maximum of 12 months; after 6 months administrators are notified of the upcoming end date.
After 12 months, access to the version is blocked.
Download the latest version here.

Flexwhere for Mobile:

Supported for a maximum of 6 months.
Users are responsible for updating their app. Notifications are displayed in the mobile app for this.
When an app version is older than 6 months, the user can no longer log in until it has been updated.

Flexwhere for Web:

The web version of Flexwhere is always up to date optimized for the latest version of the Chrome and Edge browser. Users are responsible for keeping their browser up to date.

Flexwhere for Meeting Room App:

Software:
Supported for a maximum of 12 months; after 6 months, administrators are notified of the approaching end date.
After 12 months, access for that version is discontinued.
In the event of a critical security vulnerability, a shortened mandatory update deadline of 30 days applies; customers are contacted directly in this case.

Hardware (Display): Supported for a maximum of 5 years, calculated from the moment the device model is first commercially released to the market by the manufacturer, provided that the latest version of the Flexwhere Meeting Room App is installed on it. Changes to the Android operating system imposed by Google or the device manufacturer that negatively affect functionality are outside Flexwhere's control; in such cases, Flexwhere cannot guarantee continued operation. Customers remain responsible for keeping the device operational and for installing app updates in a timely manner.

Note: Software is subject to change and may sometimes contain errors. If a critical error occurs in a version, administrators will be informed, and users will also be notified where necessary/possible.
