What is automatic check-in?

Automatic check-in is a feature in Flexwhere that automatically marks a booked desk as occupied when a user is physically present in the office. Flexwhere supports multiple methods to detect presence in the office. Organisations can choose one method or combine several.

Automatic check-in via a docking station

When connecting a laptop that has the Flexwhere desktop app installed to a docking station or monitor, the desk status is automatically updated to “Occupied”.

When your desktop or mobile app is active and connects to your office IP, our smart technology picks this up and automatically logs the desk you booked as occupied.
